I write memoir and songs about inheritance, combat, faith, fatherhood, and the long work of becoming someone who stays. I coach and speak with people doing that work in their own lives.

I grew up in Waiʻanae. I have owned a gym, stood in a pulpit, and still lift because iron does not flatter. I am a father. These days, I live for curiosity, service, faith, and the pleasure of making something that was not there yesterday.
